Natcher Conference Center InformationThe 3rd Congress of the International Society of Nutrigenetics/Nutrigenomics will take place at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Natcher Conference Center. Meeting Location Natcher Auditorium Security at Natcher Conference Center on the NIH Campus The NIH has implemented security measures to help ensure the safety of patients, employees, guests, and facilities. All visitors must enter through the NIH Gateway Center, located at 9000 Rockville Pike, Bethesda, MD 20892, adjacent to the Medical Center Metro Station at the South Drive entrance to the campus from Rockville Pike/Wisconsin Avenue (Route 355). It combines visitor parking, non-commercial vehicle inspection, and visitor ID processing, all at one location. NIH security personnel will process all visitors in vehicles or arriving as pedestrians. More information on visitor security is available at http://www.nih.gov/about/visitorsecurity.htm. All visitors will be required to show one (1) form of identification (a government-issued photo ID, driver's license, passport, green card, etc.) and to state the purpose of their visit. Visitor Parking is extremely difficult to find at NIH, so if possible, take public transportation. There is a Metro station on the NIH campus, which is a short walk from the Natcher Conference Center. Long-term, attendant-controlled parking is available to visitors at a cost of $2 per hour for the first 3 hours or $12 per day. Take Metro's Red Line to the Medical Center station. The station's escalators come out on the NIH campus, so continue to the NIH Gateway Center for security processing. Visit the "Metro" site for information on fares and schedules at www.wmata.com. Once you have proceeded through Security, follow the path behind the NIH Gateway Center to the Natcher Conference Center. |
